Recreation Therapist

Assists in providing a continuum of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcome-based leisure activities designed to meet the physical, cultural, spiritual, social, cognitive/intellectual, emotional, and creative needs and interests of assigned residents.

• Assists in developing and implementing leisure activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being.
• Provides support to residents in achieving their leisure goals and interests.
• Assists in maintaining accurate records of resident participation and progress.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participates in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a related field preferred.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
• American Heart Association CPR certification and First Aid training required.
