Key Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed final reviews of staff members' work to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
- Initiate technical trainings and development amongst team members through review feedback and communicating timely tax regulation updates.
- Be a technical resource to CPAs and team members regarding complex matters.
- Review and analyze all available construction cost documentation for a respective project.
- Examine construction blueprints and drawings to identify and properly classify all depreciable assets.
- Conduct on-site inspections to document the nature and use of all depreciable property.
- Prepare detailed schedules and reports summarizing and supporting the results of our depreciation analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, construction management, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in the cost segregation or tax accounting industry.
- Proven ability to conduct detailed reviews of client projects.
- Willingness and ability to be a technical team resource, including reviewing staff members' work and providing feedback to encourage professional development.
- Confidence and professionalism to effectively communicate with clients and accountants.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail, strong project management skills, and excellent ability to meet deadlines and work together on a fast-paced team.
- A valid United States driver's license.
- Ability to travel independently or as part of a team to client locations throughout the USA.
