Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team at Broward Health Medical Center. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient's condition and develop a plan of care to provide for the comfort and well-being of patients.
  • Administer prescribed medications, provide treatments, and observe patients' progress, recording pertinent observations and reporting reactions to medications and treatments.
  • Assist physicians with examinations and prepare instruments and equipment for use.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school (AD in Nursing, RN Diploma, or BSN).
  • Two years' experience in acute care hospital setting required.
  • Registered Nurse licensure and BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA or Red Cross.
  • Job/department-related certification/license as outlined in the specific job description.
