Responsibilities

As an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional patient care and support to our dental team.
  • Assisting with radiography, infection control, and other clinical procedures.
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients and team members.
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • EFDA certification and current radiography certification.
  • Current CPR certification and annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant.
  • Ability to travel to other offices as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

We are interested in candidates with experience in:

  • Denticon software.
  • Dexis digital x-ray technology.
  • Sirona 3D CT imaging.
  • CEREC omnicam technology.
  • Waterlase Laser technology.
