Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Team Member to join our team at Michaels. As a Service Team Member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, helping customers find what they need, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Help customers locate products, answer questions, and provide solutions to meet their needs.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Engage customers in our Rewards program, Private Label Credit Cards, and other loyalty initiatives.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including maintaining store recovery standards and ensuring a well-merchandised store.
  • Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company policies.
  • Interact with colleagues in a positive and respectful manner, promoting a team-oriented environment.
Requirements
  • Previous retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, and lift heavy boxes and access high shelves.
  • Public retail store setting with climate-controlled areas and some outdoor work.
