Job Summary

DLA Piper is seeking a highly skilled Intake Specialist to support the firm's critical risk management function. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting research on corporate business structures, reviewing and analyzing conflicts search results, and generating conflicts reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on corporate business structures and histories of potential clients and adversaries.
  • Review and interpret complex conflicts search results as part of the conflict analysis and reporting process.
  • Conduct new client and anti-money laundering due diligence.
  • Generate conflict reports and follow up on outstanding conflict requests.
  • Communicate with partners, staff, management, and Professional Responsibility Counsel to assist in the processing of new business requests and the resolution of conflicts.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and make sound decisions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum 2 years' direct experience in conflicts or new business intake department.
