The Automotive Service Operations Manager at Total Motors plays a crucial role in overseeing the Service department. Key ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the Automotive Service Operations Manager include:
- Organizing service appointments for vehicle repairs, maintenance, or warranty work.
- Maintaining accurate parts inventory and records, sourcing necessary components, and assisting service advisors as needed.
- Reaching out to existing customers to recommend vehicle inspections and repairs under scheduled maintenance or warranty programs.
- Listening to customer feedback and addressing their concerns to resolve any issues effectively.
- Facilitating efficient communication within the department and collaborating with other departments.
- Assigning and scheduling tasks for automotive service staff based on their expertise.
- Providing assistance to service technicians with vehicle repair tasks when necessary.
- Following up with customers to gather feedback and ensure their satisfaction with the services rendered.
- Staying informed about advancements in the automotive service industry.
- Completing additional tasks or projects as assigned by dealership management.
Applicants should possess:
- A high school diploma, with preference given to candidates with post-secondary education in a technical field.
- A minimum of 6 years of sales and supervisory experience, with at least 3-4 years in the automotive sector (parts and/or service).
- Mechanical and technical aptitude, along with participation in management development training.

- Attention to detail and the ability to manage projects independently.
