Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Supervisor to manage their manufacturing facility. This role will involve supervising the Facilities team and ensuring the maintenance and repair of the premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct minor repairs and/or replacements of plumbing fixtures, valves, and other components as necessary.
- Perform minor repairs and/or replacements of electrical fixtures, devices, and appliances as needed.
- Oversee and direct the Facility Technician.
- Coordinate and manage the requirements for external contractor activities.
- Provide a responsive and service-oriented approach to equipment maintenance, emphasizing production readiness.
- Maintain production maintenance and preventative maintenance programs for process tools and equipment.
- Demonstrate strong written and interpersonal skills, utilizing equipment manuals and online resources to resolve non-routine maintenance issues.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are performed according to established procedures and that logs are updated accordingly.
- Issue Purchase Orders to support maintenance and project initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards in accordance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the investigation, review, and recommendations for various equipment and projects.
- Conduct audits as assigned.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a technician is required.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience is necessary.
- Experience with the maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems and machinery is essential.
- Ability to coordinate and execute facility maintenance and operational tasks effectively.
- Must be capable of standing and sitting for extended periods.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
