About the Role

Saia is a leading logistics and transportation company seeking an experienced Forklift Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with diesel and propane power forklifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair propane and diesel forklift engines
  • Use hydraulic jacks or hoist to access and repair or replace assemblies such as engines, transmissions, and differentials
  • Utilize electronic diagnostic tools and computer software to troubleshoot and repair forklift systems
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Forklift Mechanic
  • ASE Master Mechanic certification
  • Factory training and certification in diagnostic software
  • Training in transmissions and rear-end rebuilding
  • Training in repair of hydraulic lift systems
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $38.50 per hour, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.
