Position Overview:
- Assess and evaluate assigned patients, while planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care.
- Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures.
- Conduct various patient tests and administer medications within the registered nurse's scope of practice.
- Foster patient independence by setting care goals and educating patients and their families about conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Utilize experience and judgment to strategize and achieve care objectives.
- Provide care for general medical/surgical and orthopedic patients during night shifts, working 3x12 with varying days.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida RN license.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- BLS certification.
- 0-1 years of nursing experience.
Licenses & Certifications Required: C-ARC-BLS, L-FL-RN License
