Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Ypsilanti, Michigan. As a key member of the radiology team, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. Responsibilities
As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly
  • Operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images, ensuring accurate and efficient scanning techniques
  • Monitoring patients during scans, providing reassurance and support as needed
  • Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • One to three years of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist
  • Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift equipment, and move patients as needed
