About the Role

As an Inventory Control Specialist with DXP Enterprises, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 months of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with on-site team members.

This role involves picking orders to meet customer demands, accurately accounting for inventory, and resolving discrepancies. You will also be responsible for receiving shipments, verifying transactions, and stocking inventory in the correct locations.

A key aspect of this position is maintaining a clean and neat work environment, adhering to safety procedures, and following systemically generated cycle counts.

You will record transaction data in our proprietary warehouse/distribution management system and perform other activities as directed by the Site Manager.

Job Responsibilities
  • Picking orders to meet customer demands and verifying order accuracy
  • Accurately accounting for inventory and resolving discrepancies
  • Receiving shipments, verifying transactions, and stocking inventory in correct locations
  • Maintaining a clean and neat work environment
  • FOLLOWING SAFETY PROCEDURES
  • Cycle counting as systemically generated by our proprietary warehouse/distribution management system
  • Recording transaction data in our proprietary warehouse/distribution management system
  • Performing other activities as directed by the Site Manager
Requirements
  • At least 3 months of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with on-site team members

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000, depending on experience.
