Position Overview:

This position will spearhead the development and oversight of an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) automation solution aimed at the comprehensive deployment of application stacks across multiple Data Centers, while also ensuring dynamic disaster recovery options for essential applications.

The key responsibilities include managing several vital partnerships that are currently delivering automation services and assisting in the formation of an internal team dedicated to ongoing operations, in addition to integrating various discrete automation initiatives that are presently in place.

At present, there are approximately 45-50 manual processes involved, and our objective is to establish an automation team to significantly improve operational efficiency. This role encompasses supervising and coordinating with third-party vendor teams and steering the automation strategy. The ultimate aim post-automation is to facilitate a seamless transition between production and disaster recovery environments.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive background in IaaS automation and infrastructure oversight.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading automation teams.
  • Strong expertise with the following technologies: Virtual Server configurations, F5 Load Balancing, TCPWave IP Address Management, NSX segmentation, Zerto replication, Palo Alto Firewalls, Rubrik backups, and Service Now.
  • Proven ability to manage and collaborate with third-party vendors effectively.
  • Proficiency with Zerto and its application in automation is a plus.
  • Willingness to attend onsite meetings and brainstorming sessions as necessary.
