Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care, encourages growth among colleagues, thrives in a dynamic setting, and is eager to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver innovative, high-quality urgent and primary care to patients of all ages in underserved areas.
- Conduct physical examinations, diagnose and treat medical conditions, order and interpret laboratory tests, prescribe medications, educate patients, and maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.
- Perform evaluations for workers' compensation, occupational health, DOT, sports, wellness, and pre-employment screenings.
- Provide adaptable care to ensure all patients receive appropriate treatment options.
- Communicate effectively with both patients and team members.
- Work independently as a provider while collaborating with nurses, x-ray technicians, and administrative staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Offer guidance and support to team members as necessary, ensuring follow-up on patient progress.
- Utilize sound judgment to determine when to consult with a supervising physician.
- Collaborate with management and operational teams to uphold medical policies and professional standards.
- Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing clinic services.
- Possess at least one year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or in emergency care as a Registered Nurse.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Required Skills and Certifications:
- Minimum one year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or in emergency care as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in pediatric care is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Active Iowa Nurse Practitioner state license.
- Active DEA License.
- DOT Physical Certification.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
What We Provide:
Work-Life Balance and Flexible Scheduling: Our clinics operate Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM, Saturdays from 8 AM to 6 PM, and Sundays from 1 PM to 5 PM. Schedules are typically released a month in advance, allowing PRN providers to cover a minimum of two shifts monthly.

Your operational support team will include a Regional Manager, Provider Lead, Director of Clinical Operations, and a Medical Director serving as the supervising physician.
