Position Overview:
- This Registered Nurse role involves working in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts weekly from 7pm to 7:30am, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Unit Description:
The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit is a 32-bed facility, featuring 16 ICU beds and 16 Intermediate care beds. Nurses will be assigned to either the ICU or Intermediate side, with the ICU focusing on post-operative cardiac surgeries and various cardiac conditions, including cardiac arrest and myocardial infarctions. The Intermediate side caters to pre and post-cardiac patients, as well as other cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for a designated group of patients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient assessments, examinations, and treatments.

- Provide education and explanations regarding procedures to patients and their families.
- Document patient care accurately and comprehensively, adhering to documentation standards.
- Take responsibility for care provided by both licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care effectively.
- Basic computer skills; experience with electronic medical records preferred.
