Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Prepper to join our team at Landlocked Industries LLC. As an Aircraft Prepper, you will be responsible for preparing aircraft surfaces for painting, ensuring a high-quality finish and adhering to strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and applying masking materials.
  • Use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures to prevent accidents.
  • Apply paint and coatings to aircraft surfaces using Single Stage and BCCC paint systems.
  • Identify and correct minor defects, such as overspray, debris, and small runs.
  • Perform basic paint mixing and reading of paint drawings.
  • Understand and identify aircraft body stations and follow drawing directions.
Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods, reach arms overhead, and wear a respirator for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., use ladders of various sizes, and climb in and out of lifts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of aircraft terminology and painting processes.
