Job Title: Clinic-Based Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist

Charm City Therapy is a leading pediatric multidisciplinary therapy center in Baltimore, offering speech, occupational, and physical therapy services. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to children with communication disorders. As a Clinic-Based Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work collaboratively with other clinicians and families to assess, treat, and support children with speech, language, and communication challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate child's speech and language abilities, including receptive and expressive language skills, articulation, fluency, and pragmatic language skills.
  • Develop long and short-term therapeutic goals and design and implement evidence-based intervention strategies and therapy activities to address speech and language disorders.
  • Provide direct therapy services individually to each child, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and resources, including articulation strategies, language games, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, and social skills training.
  • Collaborate with team members to integrate speech and language goals into child's daily life and provide consultation and training to caregivers regarding accommodations, modifications, and effective communication strategies.
  • Monitor students' progress towards IEP goals through ongoing assessment, data collection, and progress monitoring, and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and communication with team members.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • State licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with children, families, educators, and other professionals.
  • Proficiency in conducting speech and language assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based intervention strategies.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in pediatric speech therapy.
Working Conditions:

Full-time or part-time positions available. Requires mobility within the clinic environment, including navigating treatment rooms, hallways, and therapy spaces.
