QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Registered Nurse with a valid Colorado license or the capability to obtain one.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification from the Oncology Nursing Society in Chemotherapy.
Experience:
Experience in Radiation Oncology is preferred, though not mandatory.
Skills:
Ability to swiftly adapt in a dynamic clinical setting.
Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Capability to coordinate patient care in oncology with various interdisciplinary personnel.
Demonstrated flexibility and strong organizational skills.
Knowledge and expertise necessary to provide care to patients across diverse age groups, developmental stages, and cultural backgrounds.
Understanding of chronic illness management and comorbid conditions.
Current awareness of the latest trends, skills, procedures, and protocols in hematology/oncology and internal medicine practices.
Comprehension of the latest evidence-based practices in oncology, immunology, pharmacology, community health, and cultural sensitivity.
SALARY RANGE:
$33.99 to $49.98 per hour (for BSN).
Initial salary is contingent upon educational background, skill set, and experience.
A 4% pay differential exists for RN-ADN, BSN, and MSN.
$15,000 Sign-on Bonus (requires a two-year commitment; internal candidates are not eligible for this bonus).
