Job Summary

As a key member of our Electrophysiology Medical Device Division, you will provide financial support and counsel to divisional senior finance and executive management. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving financial planning and analysis, standard cost setting, management financial reporting, internal controls, and asset management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive financial plans, latest best estimates, and monthly reporting for the Electrophysiology Operations and Supply chain group.
  • Lead the yearly allocation process for Operations support spending, ensuring proper approval and review of allocations.
  • Develop and present management presentations, relevant data, financial analyses, and special projects to senior divisional management.
  • Review and ensure consistency of annual Standard setting for Operations Manufacturing Plants in Plymouth.
  • Monitor Balance sheet accounts Ops to ensure proper levels of accruals based on Abbott operating policies.
  • Develop system solutions and process improvements that meet Planning and Reporting requirements.
  • Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of financial professionals to ensure financial planning and analysis projects are conducted credibly and that recommendations and reports are accurate and timely.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in finance, with a focus on cost accounting and consolidation.
  • Team management experience, with a proven track record of developing and mentoring finance professionals.
