Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our professional liability practice, providing expert legal advice and counsel to clients on matters related to engineering and construction, including professional liability and construction defects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in construction law and experience working with clients on high-stakes cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the professional liability practice, providing strategic guidance and oversight to ensure excellent client service and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive business growth and expand our reach in the construction and engineering industries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry partners to foster trust and confidence.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:

  • A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licenses to practice law and in good standing.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as an attorney, specifically in the areas of construction, professional liability, and construction defect.
  • Exceptional knowledge of construction and engineering industry standards, regulations, and laws.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills to interpret complex legal documents and formulate strategic plans.
Salary Range

$200,000 - $280,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
