Job Summary

Maine Staffing Group is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial equipment in a sawmill environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and replace chains, conveyors, gearboxes, drive trains, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Use power tools and hand tools
  • Welding and fabricating parts
  • File reports and maintain proper maintenance logs
  • Troubleshoot, repair, assemble, and perform preventive maintenance
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in industrial environment maintenance in a sawmill is desirable
  • Excellent reading and writing skills
  • Experience in stationary equipment used to process lumber
  • Ability to work in a team environment in a safe and productive manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work shift work, long hours, and weekends as needed
