Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our growing maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of motorcoaches and transit buses, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive preventative maintenance on a diverse fleet of over 100 motorcoaches and transit buses from various manufacturers, including Setra, Temsa, MCI, Irizar, Gillig, and New Flyers.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and suspension systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and address any maintenance needs promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in the repair and maintenance of motorcoaches and transit buses is essential.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of diesel engine systems and related components.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to meet FMCSA requirements, including CDL, medical card, pre-employment, and random drug & alcohol testing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial.
