Job Summary

The Shift Nurse Supervisor is a key role within Mercy Health, responsible for overseeing the administration and operational activities on weekends, evening, and night shifts. Key Responsibilities
  • Assumes responsibility and authority as delegated by the Chief Nurse Officer/Sr. Chief Nurse Officer.
  • Provides clinical leadership and guidance to direct care staff.
  • Assists in the provision of care to patients of all age groups.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing business or health-related field preferred or actively pursuing degree.
  • Five years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
  • Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Current Ohio RN Licensure.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
