About the Role

A Dumpling Trainee Specialist is responsible for preparing, assembling, folding, and steaming dumplings for our discerning guests. This role requires a high level of professionalism and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities & Tasks
  • Preparation of dough, measurement, and cutting
  • Rolling of dumpling/bun skins
  • Stuffing, closing, and arranging dumplings/buns in a steamer
  • Addition of meat and allergen identifiers
  • Steaming of dumplings/buns
  • Maintenance of a clean working space and dumpling room
  • Labeling of all items according to regulations and procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Friendly and energetic demeanor
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • No prior dumpling experience required, but experience with prep work, particularly with dough (pastry, pizza, etc.) is a plus
  • Open availability and willingness to learn and be challenged
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
