Truckee Meadows Community College is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our team as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Physical Sciences. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Astronomy or Physics and a passion for teaching and mentoring students. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses, including AST 104, and will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students.
We offer a competitive salary of $1,010 per credit hour for teaching 100- and 200-level courses, and $1,100 per credit hour for teaching 300- and 400-level courses. Our Adjunct Faculty members are paid for their work and are also eligible for benefits, including tuition reimbursement and longevity payments.

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach introductory astronomy courses, including AST 104. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Astronomy or Physics and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Astronomy or Physics
- Teaching experience, preferably in a community college setting
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use current technology, including online learning platforms and educational software
Benefits:
