We are seeking an experienced Executive Inland Marine Specialist to join our team at Palomar Specialty Insurance Company. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned insurance professional to leverage their expertise in inland marine lines of business and drive growth through strategic relationship development.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Selecting, pricing, quoting, and reviewing new and renewal business in accordance with company underwriting guidelines and experienced judgment.
- Independently working with assigned distribution channels to select risks, evaluate, and recommend program structure, services, and pricing to achieve a balanced portfolio and long-term profitability.
- Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships to develop new opportunities and retain existing accounts in support of the producer and territory management plan.
This role requires a minimum of 5 years of inland marine insurance experience, a bachelor's degree, and excellent communication skills. A CPCU or professional insurance designation is strongly preferred.
