Job Description:
The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for overseeing a range of HR-related activities, including recruitment, talent development, employee engagement, and benefits administration. This individual will have a proven track record of success in HR, with expertise in areas such as employment law, employee relations, and benefits management. Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing HR strategies to support business objectives;
  • Recruiting, selecting, and onboarding new employees;
  • Designing and delivering training programs to enhance employee skills and performance;
  • Managing employee relations, including grievances and disciplinary actions;
  • Administering employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and time-off programs;
  • Providing guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters;

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, the Human Resources Specialist should possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent, five to seven years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Master's degree in HR or a related field (desired);
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification (desired);
  • Expertise in employment law, employee relations, and benefits management;
  • Proven track record of success in HR, with a focus on recruitment, talent development, and employee engagement;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to analyze complex HR issues and develop effective solutions;
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive business results;
  • Results-driven and deadline-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy;
