Job Title: Respiratory Therapist-CRT

Catholic Health Service is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist-CRT to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist-CRT, you will be responsible for providing advanced respiratory care to patients in various settings, including intensive care, non-critical care areas, and the emergency room.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their respiratory care requirements.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide education to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA, JRCTE, or CoARC accredited Respiratory Therapy program with a minimum of an associate's degree.
  • NYS Respiratory Therapist license.
  • Credentialed RRT/CRT by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Experience with basic respiratory therapy modalities, mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, patient assessment, and arterial blood gas collection/analysis.
  • BLS certification.
