Position Overview:
This role as a Clinical Dietitian (RD/LD) focuses on delivering outpatient nutritional support for pediatric patients at MD Anderson Cancer Center. The position may also involve cross-coverage in inpatient services and various outpatient clinics as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
The Clinical Dietitian is expected to demonstrate expertise in clinical nutrition assessments and provide nutrition education tailored for both adults and children. The working hours are set from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, with a hybrid work model requiring at least 60% of time spent onsite at the Medical Center campus.

Clinical Nutrition Services:
MD Anderson's Clinical Nutrition department comprises registered dietitians dedicated to offering comprehensive nutritional care. Our dietitians collaborate with medical teams to identify opportunities for nutritional intervention or support.

Our services encompass:
- Cancer prevention
- Nutritional intervention throughout treatment phases
- Management of treatment-related side effects
- Specialized dietary plans
- Administration of specialized feeding methods, including tube feeds and IV parenteral nutrition.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Required: Bachelor's degree and completion of an accredited dietetic internship.
- Preferred: Master's degree in a related field.

Experience:
- Required: No prior experience necessary with the required degree and internship.

Licensure/Certification:
- Required: Current Registered Dietitian (RD) and Licensed Dietitian (LD).
