Job Description

The Red Barn Child Care Center & Preschool is an early childhood program and daycare for children 6 weeks to 12 years old. Our mission is to provide a nurturing environment that fosters growth, learning, and development in children. We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care and education to our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with our program guidelines and meet the needs of our students.
  • Supervise and interact with children to support their play, exploration, and learning.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, co-workers, and administration to ensure a positive and supportive environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom, adhering to state licensing rules and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; formal training or courses in early childhood education preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and provide proof of physical ability.
  • Reliable transportation to the Child Care center and a positive record of attendance.
  • Ability to work a full-time shift Monday-Friday and maintain a smoke-free campus and personal cell phone usage policies.
