About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Quality Talent Group. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to promote optimal oral health.
  • Provide preventive care services, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and patient education on oral hygiene techniques.
  • Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene and participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in Michigan and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR certification and experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of clinical experience in a dental setting.
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.
