Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Senior Analyst to join our Strategy & Rates team within our Global Fixed Income (GFI) unit. This role will use technology to enhance investment decision making throughout GFI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage cutting-edge technology, programming languages, data visualization tools, and AI/machine learning concepts to improve analytical processes and workflow optimization.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide analytical solutions and support investment strategy.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret fixed-income market data to support investment decisions.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for upgrading our capabilities and skills to stay at the forefront of the fixed-income analytics field.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
  • Numerate self-starter with strong attention to detail and a passion for learning.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience in portfolio analysis or investment management with a focus in programming, analytics & BI reporting within a fixed income environment preferred.
  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms and their applications in financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical methods and their practical application in financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, VBA, and SQL.
  • Tenacious problem-solving skills, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Experience with Blackrock's Aladdin investment platform, Bloomberg, and Macrobond is preferred.
