Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Engineer to join our team in Albany, Poughkeepsie, or White Plains. As a key member of our Traffic Engineering and Planning Group, you will be responsible for leading traffic impact and safety studies, evaluating transportation improvements, and developing roadway designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Traffic Impact and Safety Studies
  • Evaluate Transportation Improvements
  • Develop Roadway Designs
  • Conduct Traffic Evaluations for Multi-Modal Transportation Planning Projects
  • Prepare Traffic Impact Studies and Reports
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to Develop Project Plans and Schedules
  • Communicate Effectively with Clients and Stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC Accredited Program
  • 6 Years of Experience in Traffic Engineering or a Related Field
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) Licensure
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
