Join Our Team as a Crisis Therapist

Suburban Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, is seeking a skilled Crisis Therapist to join our team in the Crisis Intervention Department. As a Crisis Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing psychiatric and addiction assessments in our Emergency Department, as well as liaison services for medical patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate psychiatric diagnoses
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to stabilize patients and provide referrals
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide crisis intervention services
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements:
  • At least five years' experience in the mental health/addiction field
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and formulating psychiatric diagnoses
  • Knowledge of current state mental hygiene regulations and managed care criteria
  • MD Social Worker or LPC license, with LCSW-C and LPCP (Licensed Professional Counselors) or Psy.D/PH.D license required
