Job Responsibilities
  • Operate wheel loader to transport materials to designated hoppers for asphalt manufacturing
  • Collaborate effectively within a team setting
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections
  • Ensure a safe working environment for oneself and fellow team members
  • Perform minor maintenance and servicing of equipment
  • Assist with general labor tasks as needed
  • Follow directives from the Foreman
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain constant visual communication with co-workers while backing up, using hand signals
Qualifications
  • Must demonstrate competence, quick learning ability, and a positive attitude
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Prior experience in asphalt paving is preferred
Work Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Compliance with safety protocols outlined in the employee handbook is mandatory
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required
  • Overtime may be necessary
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures
  • Punctuality is essential
  • Capability to operate Paver and Screed
  • Experience with shovel and lute is beneficial
  • Willingness to train fellow employees
