Join MultiCare Health System as a Nurse Fellow and embark on a transformative journey of professional growth and development. This exceptional opportunity is designed for new graduate RNs or experienced RNs seeking to transition to hospital and/or new specialty areas.
Program OverviewThe Nurse Fellow program combines classroom instruction with clinical hours, guided by expert preceptors who will mentor and support your development. Through this comprehensive program, you will:
- Develop dynamic nursing practice with competence, autonomy, and connection to purpose
- Enhance your education and knowledge in providing quality patient care and services
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
As a Nurse Fellow, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing, planning, coordinating, evaluating, and delegating nursing functions across the lifespan of individuals, families, caregivers, and populations
- Utilizing the nursing process for nursing care and health teaching in the maintenance and promotion of health or prevention of illness
- Functioning interdependently when executing a medical regimen under the direction of a physician
To be eligible for the Nurse Fellow program, you must:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or obtain one within three years from the initial date of hire
- Be a Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) with a current Health Care Provider level CPR certification
- Meet additional requirements as specified by the department
