Bike and Ski Shop Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled Bike and Ski Shop Mechanic to join our team at REI. As a key member of our retail store Shop team, you will be responsible for assembling REI equipment, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the success of our business.
Responsibilities- Assess customer needs and provide expert advice on REI products and services.
- Engage in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to REI's high standards.
- Produce high-quality work that meets and exceeds industry standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Report any quality or safety issues to shop managers, ensuring prompt resolution and continuous improvement.
- Follow REI's loss prevention and safety procedures, upholding our commitment to a safe and secure work environment.
- Work a flexible schedule based on business needs, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to go above and beyond.
- Experience in bike and snow sports equipment assembly, with a strong understanding of REI products and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Technical skills and proficiency in equipment assembly and repair, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Ability to transfer 40 pounds, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
