About the Role

Platinum Control is seeking a highly skilled PVC Field Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical services related to the installation, troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of our products.

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Travel onsite to complete service work and monthly preventative maintenance requirements for Platinum's products.
  • Inspect, investigate, and troubleshoot equipment for quality control and improvements.
  • Work safely and effectively with field operations, fellow employees, and contractors.
  • Complete and start up new installations of Platinum products in the field.
  • Manage and maintain appropriate stock levels of inventory and tools.
  • Secure parts and supplies through designated procurement systems.
  • Maintain records of inventories, work orders, timesheets, etc.
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers, manufacturers, distributors, etc.
  • Use computer programs to retrieve and analyze data.
  • Be available for 24-hour on-call duty and subject to call-outs and travel time for work associated with field operations and/or emergency response.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent customer support and troubleshooting skills.
  • Prior experience with basic hand and power tools and electrical meters.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Aptitude to learn combustion, natural draft burners, and automation of natural gas burning equipment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical operational manuals.
  • Ability to apply sound judgement and reasoning when dealing with problems.
  • Ability to apply moderate knowledge of computers and office equipment.
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in electrical, mechanical, or construction.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record to operate company vehicle.
  • High School Diploma Required.
