Responsibilities:

  • Function as a dispensing pharmacist independently in all required areas of pharmacy.
  • Fill and check orders, compound medications, and prepare IV solutions.
  • Provide medication information to healthcare disciplines and assist with training technicians as needed.
  • Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy and State of Iowa Board of Pharmacy License are required.

Requirements:

  • Licensure as a Pharmacist by the Iowa Board of Pharmacy Examiners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
