Key Responsibilities:

  • · Manage daily operations for the project team within the scope of assigned initiatives.
  • · Organize and coordinate all facets of this intricate technology procurement and implementation project.

  • · Oversee the project planning process, including resource identification, project plan development, stakeholder coordination for requirement agreement, task assignments, team activity management, and project execution.
  • · Develop and maintain all relevant project management documentation, including project plans, resource estimates, budgets, schedules, team rosters, issue management, risk management, change control, and periodic status updates. May assist in budget development and presentation as needed.
  • · Act as a vital liaison between the project team and vendors to provide updates and gather feedback, ensuring effective and timely communication. Utilize leadership and communication skills to convey management objectives and engage with project stakeholders to develop automated business processes and implement new solutions.
  • · Communicate regularly with the organization regarding project progress and status.
  • · Collaborate closely with users to ensure that the design and development of the new solution meet business requirements effectively.
  • · Coordinate project team activities across various functional areas and disciplines to achieve project objectives.
  • · Work with customers to develop new systems and ensure existing systems fulfill their needs.
  • · Provide leadership and mentorship to assigned team members.
  • · Collaborate with business, administrative, and technical staff to meet customer requirements.
  • · Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

  • 4-year (Bachelor) or 2-year (Master) degree with 24 months of experience managing software solution implementation for a local government entity – Preferred
  • 4-year (Bachelor) degree or equivalent extensive project management experience - Essential
  • Hands-on experience in project management – Preferred – 8 years
  • Hands-on experience in project management – Essential – 5 Years
  • Proven experience managing technology projects – Preferred – 5 years
  • Proven experience managing technology projects – Essential - 3 Years
  • Proficient in traditional project management, agile methodologies, iterative processes, and ITIL framework - Essential
