Rebar Specialist

At G R Birdwell Construction, we are seeking a skilled Rebar Specialist to join our team. As a Rebar Specialist, you will be responsible for hoisting and placing reinforcing steel, including rebar, wire mesh, and post-tensioning systems, in accordance with construction documents and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installs rebar in wall footings, grade beams, column footings, caps, and footing steps.
• Installs rebar templates, embeds, and anchor bolts.
• Offloads and packs rebar to appropriate locations.
• Installs all required accessories to support rebar in its correct location.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in all kinds of weather and working conditions.
• Ability to exert physical effort, handling average weight objects up to 50 pounds.
• Pass a hair follicle drug screen and background check.
