Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Facilities Maintenance Team Lead to manage our cleaning crew. The successful candidate will oversee the maintenance of industrial settings, including manufacturing facilities and warehouses, while adhering to Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety Management: Ensure job site safety and OSHA compliance regulations are enforced.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment and ensure supplies are readily available for assigned work.
- Timekeeping and Supervision: Monitor employee timekeeping via Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and supervise cleaning crew members, including building, training, counseling, and coaching teams.
- Work Scheduling: Arrange work schedules for assigned rotation staff members.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve problems and discrepancies on jobs and interact with clients to amend issues.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks.
- Operational Support: Provide operational support to Leads/Team when necessary.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews, rewarding and disciplining employees via Coach and Counsel statements.
- Customer Outreach: Engage in telephone marketing to customers and local area businesses, soliciting quotations for services and growing the business line.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience: One to two years of experience in total facilities maintenance, preferably with use of chemicals and biohazard spillage experience.
- Leadership: Strong leadership capabilities, enabling effective team management and problem-solving.
- Technical Skills: Proficient supervisory experience, working knowledge of MS Suite of Products (MS Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.), and familiarity with timekeeping systems.
- Education: Some College preferred or equivalent experience.
Benefits and Compensation
This hourly position offers a competitive salary range: $15.00-$18.00 per hour. Benefits include equal employment opportunities and screening requirements such as Motor Vehicle and Criminal Background Check.
