Scope of Work

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Primary Care setting. The successful candidate will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring high-quality outcomes and exceptional patient experiences.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to delivering patient-centered care, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, and utilizing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  1. Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  2. Provide high-quality care that meets or exceeds expectations, focusing on value, quality, and patient experience.
  3. Recognize the roles of the interdisciplinary team, patient, and family care partners, and utilize them appropriately as resources in planning patient care.
  4. Document patient information in a timely, accurate, and concise manner, ensuring seamless communication among team members.
  5. Develop teaching strategies for patients and families, documenting education and learning in the patient record.
  6. Participate in department-based activities, staff meetings, and committees, contributing to a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  7. Complete a self-appraisal, including professional goals, annually, and participate in peer review.
Qualifications

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a strong foundation in nursing practice and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, preferably from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in ambulatory or outpatient OB/GYN, with a focus on Family Planning Services and Education.
