Scope of WorkWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Primary Care setting. The successful candidate will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring high-quality outcomes and exceptional patient experiences.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to delivering patient-centered care, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, and utilizing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Provide high-quality care that meets or exceeds expectations, focusing on value, quality, and patient experience.
- Recognize the roles of the interdisciplinary team, patient, and family care partners, and utilize them appropriately as resources in planning patient care.
- Document patient information in a timely, accurate, and concise manner, ensuring seamless communication among team members.
- Develop teaching strategies for patients and families, documenting education and learning in the patient record.
- Participate in department-based activities, staff meetings, and committees, contributing to a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Complete a self-appraisal, including professional goals, annually, and participate in peer review.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a strong foundation in nursing practice and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess:
- An Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, preferably from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- A minimum of one year of experience in ambulatory or outpatient OB/GYN, with a focus on Family Planning Services and Education.
