Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at UofL Health Shelbyville Hospital. As a critical care float nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver nursing care to patients of varying age groups using the nursing process and practice standards.
  • Utilize leadership competencies to coordinate patient care and communicate with the care team.
  • Develop professionally as a lifelong learner and evaluate care based on evidence, quality models, and patient safety goals.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification accredited by the American Heart Association.
  • Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky.
  • Two years of RN experience in a hospital setting.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications may be required for specific clinical areas.
