**Overview:**

At SP Plus Corporation, we strive to make every moment matter for our customers. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our parking facilities.

We offer competitive compensation, including an estimated salary range of $15.00 per hour, depending on location and qualifications.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of accuracy when handling transactions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Treating each customer with respect and kindness, ensuring every interaction delivers on the SP+ Promise.
  • Responsible for being at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform, ready to assist customers.
  • Counting bank of revenue at beginning of shift to ensure starting total is correct.
  • Collecting cash and/or validations and maintaining security of cash.
  • Making change and issuing receipts or tickets to customer for each transaction.
  • Computing or re-computing bill from ticket showing amount due per customer.
  • Operating cash register after time calculation (manually or by machine), calculating cost or transaction and displaying cost of customer transaction on cash register.
  • Quotes prices for parking services for which money is received upon customer receipt.
  • Giving directions to city locations and assisting customers, ensuring they get where they are going easily and efficiently.
  • Completing lost ticket forms when original tickets cannot be located.
  • Resolving customer complaints quickly and efficiently, asking a supervisor for assistance when needed.
  • Answering telephone in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of booth and picking up trash in the surrounding area.
  • Conducting timely checks to see if a proper inventory of necessary work aids and supplies are located in booth.
  • Verifying log of shift transactions against bank of revenue on hand.
  • Compiling bank of collected revenue during the day once a predetermined amount of money has been collected.
  • Recording amounts received, cars in/out of facility, cars left in a facility (if applicable) while preparing shift report of transactions.
