Café Attendant

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Café Attendant to join our team at Chartwells Higher Ed. As a Café Attendant, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers.

Job Summary

The Café Attendant will be responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, and serving beverages and food items in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers and take orders accurately and efficiently
  • Serve beverages and food items in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and supplies
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service or related field preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Possess basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
