Assistant Sales Manager

The Assistant Sales Manager is a key member of the Velocity Vehicle Group team, responsible for managing all aspects of the retail sales, administrative functions, and staff, as well as inventory control. This role requires a strong understanding of the truck industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide support to the sales personnel to ensure maximized margins, customer satisfaction, and efficient utilization of systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to the sales personnel to ensure maximized margins, customer satisfaction, and efficient utilization of systems and processes.
Collaborate regularly with DTNA DSM's to meet internal sales goals and provide additional support to sales staff.
Assist with disciplinary action with sales personnel as needed.
Diligently uphold the company's standards of maintaining inventory records to maximize profits through:
Upholding meticulous standard operating procedures developed to guarantee accuracy of the data.
Actively capturing photographic materials of the inventory for marketing purposes and utilizing them in the most efficient and effective methods available.
Continuously monitor and report on inventory trends to guarantee maximum return to our customers and the department.
Requirements:
5-6 years' experience in New Trucks Sales.
Truck Industry Knowledge Required.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Experience in customer service, sales, and/or marketing.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
