Job Overview

The Goddard School - Collierville is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Floater / Substitute Teacher. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment for children aged 0-5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Lead Teachers to establish and maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment.
  • Develop and implement creative lesson plans to advance children's physical and intellectual competence.
  • Support children's social and emotional development through positive guidance and relationships.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintain a professional commitment to our school's mission and values.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Some experience in an early childhood education setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings and afternoons.
  • Strong computer and technology skills, with experience in digital lesson planning tools and software a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Desire to be part of a successful team working together to provide exceptional education and care.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate, $11-$13+/hr depending on qualifications.
  • Full-time shifts available or afternoon part-time shifts.
