Seeking a Dedicated Infectious Disease Specialist

OSF Medical Group, part of OSF HealthCare, is seeking a skilled and compassionate infectious disease specialist to join our growing practice. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with experienced physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with infectious diseases.
  • Collaborate with infectious disease specialists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Conduct educational sessions with patients and their families on infectious diseases, prevention, and treatment options.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
  • Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
  • Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in primary care or a related field.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
