As a Protech Apprentice Technician, you will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to develop your skills in diagnostic and mechanical repairs under the guidance of an experienced technician. You will gain expertise in working with a wide range of manufacturers and perform repairs to vehicles by adhering to OE specifications and repair standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, focusing on building relationships and delivering consistent results.
  • Be willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced automotive environment, with a strong emphasis on multitasking.
  • Complete assigned training and certifications, including continuing education courses, to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Develop proficiency in basic diagnostic, mechanical, programming, and ADAS calibrations.
  • Gain a solid understanding of administrative tasks, including estimating, invoicing, part cost, and pre and post quality control checklists.
  • Assist mentor technicians with day-to-day job duties and communicate effectively with the field team to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain a well-organized work area and test drive vehicles after repair and/or ADAS calibrations.
  • Exhibit a self-motivated, positive attitude with a customer-focused vision.
  • Be accountable for assigned inventory, including laptops, OE scan tools, VCI, and other equipment provided.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Desire to learn a skilled trade.
  • High school diploma or tech school graduate.
  • Automotive repair experience preferred but not required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently.
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, with a customer-focused vision.
